Led by the Director of Programming at NCTV, this experience offers emerging storytellers a rare blend of creative support and real-world opportunity. Participants will receive guided feedback, story development tools, and a path to prepare their work for potential production and festival consideration.

Select scripts may be brought to life as short films and showcased at notable platforms like NEW Moon Fest—an event that, this year, became a declaration. A declaration that women’s voices rise not in reaction, but in reclamation.

As the signature fundraiser of Nantucket Community Television, NEW Moon embodies the mission of our island’s only multimedia arts center: to empower Nantucket voices of all ages. Through this mentorship, we extend that mission—to writers with stories that demand to be told.
